In 2015, five upstanding young people came together under the name “Initiative Volunteer Group” and in our first year of our existence, we managed to set up 4 training groups using only our own funds. These groups included:
- An English language learning group.
- A Russian language study group.
- A mathematics club that popularized the exact sciences among teenagers.
- A music group.
In 2015, more than 160 youth representatives were trained in these groups for 6 months.
In September 2022, a public organization called “Zamon” was registered, the office of which is in Isfara city, Sughd region. Currently, the organization has 7 members on the board, 7 active employees and 9 experts of the advisory board, 3 representatives of state structures and 3 representatives of public organizations. In addition, the organization has 68 volunteers from 12 Jamoats of the city.
Activities:
- Formation of an active civil society;
- Formation of a community of socially responsible youth;
- Promotion of effective utilization of human potential;
- Conducting expert research to identify problems in society and make recommendations for their elimination;
- Disseminating knowledge of human rights and promoting respect for them among the population;
- Promoting gender equality in all its forms;
- Promoting citizens' involvement in governmental processes and lobbying citizens' interests for inclusion in generally accepted and regional government programs and strategies;
