Republican public organization "Tahlil" (registration certificate No. 1899 dated September 10, 2019; re-registration certificate No. 1899 "A" dated December 10, 2020) was established on the basis of the Expert and Analytical Center of the Tajik National University by a group of researchers and experts representing various spheres of science and society.
The main goal of the organization is to promote the development of scientific and expert fundamental research on modern processes and trends taking place in Tajikistan and the region.
"Tahlil" is based in the city of Dushanbe and has a representative office in the Sughd region (Khujand). The organization has qualified personnel and the necessary tools and equipment to conduct field research and implement projects throughout the country.
Relevant staff (including managers, supervisors and administrators) have experience in successfully implementing essential projects, including P/ PVE projects across the country since 2010. Our experts have the skills and knowledge necessary to carry out activities, including a good understanding of gender sensitivity, language, and culture, as well as general confidentiality enforcement and proper communication with communities, authorities and relevant stakeholders.
The main services of the organization:
- Organizing and conducting analyses, forecasts, monitoring, expertise and expert-nalytical work in the field of political, economic, socio-economic and information development, as well as the security sector;
- Provision of analytical, consulting, information, methodological and information services;
- Preparation of expert opinions and analytical materials in the field of foreign and domestic policy, cross-border cooperation and development of cooperation with Central Asia and the world, on political issues, security issues, interethnic, religious, cultural, socio-economic, educational, issues of cross-border cooperation and other issues.
- The organization has implemented and managed donor-funded projects in the country, including projects related to research and study of vulnerable groups: migrants, women, youth; PVE issues in Tajikistan, etc.

To date, the organization has managed to form a fairly effective network of experts, scientific and expert organizations, educational and scientific institutions, research centres, and both public and non-public sectors within Tajikistan and beyond. Among the partners of the organization are local executive authorities, ministries and departments of the Republic of Tajikistan, including the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Committee for Religious Affairs, streamlining traditions and rituals under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Center for Islamic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Center for Strategic Studies under President of the Republic of Tajikistan and others.

- Development and presentation of the "Methodological Guide for Conducting Religious Analysis and Comprehensive Forensic Psychological and Language Expertise in Tajikistan" together with experts from the Committee on Religious Affairs, Streamlining National Traditions, Celebrations and Rites under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Center for Islamic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, International Non-Commercial Corporation “Search for Common Interests” ( SFCG ).
- Organization of the “School of Analysis and Forecasting” together with the Expert and Analytical Center of TNU in May-June 2022.
- Carrying out awareness-raising work for the population in matters of reintegration and rehabilitation of returnees (project "Support of the European Union and the UN to the states of Central Asia for citizens of third countries returned from Syria and Iraq"), December 2022-March 2023.
