The purpose of the republican public organization “Ravshan” is to increase the potential of children, youth, girls and low-income families and to promote education for children, especially girls.
The organization was founded in 2011 and is in the city of Kulob, Khatlon region.
Scope of activities: supporting women, children and low-income families in terms of law, medicine, as well as environmental protection and development of folk crafts. Also:
- Gender equality (raising awareness of domestic violence, training for rural women)
- Work with low-income families,
- Working with single-parent families,
- Prison returnees,
- As well as returnees from war zones.
Has experience of cooperation with the public organization “Fidokor”. Also cooperates with the Tajikistan Committee on Women and Family Affairs.
