NGO “SUPPORT CENTER NAVZAMIN”

The NGO “Support Center Navzamin” aims to strengthen the development of civil society through the development of educational programs and social partnership as well as assisting the local authorities in solving the socio-economic problems of the rural population of the Khatlon region.

The organization was founded 2002 and mainly implements projects to improve the living conditions of the rural population living in the border region and nationwide. The “Support Center Navzamin” conducts activities to empower the community to solve economic and social problems. The NGO cooperates with state actors as well as with other local civil society organizations and conducts projects with support of international agencies and donors such as UNDP, USAID, EU and EFCA in the field of

• Capacity building and advice for business founding and development
• Improving the social and economic living conditions of citizens (creating jobs, capacity building in farming; assistance to find opportunities for employment)
• Awareness raising about legal rights of citizens and health (HIV, Nutrition)
